Short summary of what the town of Keith has to offer the visitor:-
The town of Keith is situated on the A96, halfway between Aberdeen and Inverness and maintains population of around 5000. It boasts four churches, two primary schools, a grammar school, a cottage hospital, doctors surgery, police station, library, several parks, veterinary surgery, a tennis court and two dental surgeries - a national railway station and a privately owned railway station, more than a few pubs and cafes along with a community centre, swimming pool and fitness suite to name but a few.
The main retailing street is a hidden gem of "Olde Worlde charm" with some modern shops thrown in. Most of the shops are privately owned. Accommodation in Keith - Keith has several hotels and quite a few bed and breakfasts.
Recommendation - Spend a day in Keith browsing the shops you will be surprised at what they have to offer. Fife Keith is the other half of Keith on the way to Inverness again there are a good mix of shops, hotels and cafes.
